About

Dr Datler Sports Clinic | Your Expert Osteopath With A Different Approach
Operating from our main clinic in Bromley and facilities in Blackheath, we believe high-quality treatment and true recovery cannot be rushed. While most clinics operate on a standard 30-minute conveyor belt, we provide extended 60-minute appointments with a top-rated osteopath.

Why the extra time matters:
• More Hands-On Treatment: A standard 30-minute slot often leaves only 15–20 minutes for actual treatment after assessment and changing. Our hour sessions typically offer 45–50 minutes of deep, focused work.
• Better Recovery: We can treat with greater attention to detail and address multiple areas in a single visit, often reducing the need for frequent return trips.
• Meaningful Value: One comprehensive £130 session offers more continuity and progress than two or three rushed £60 visits. You save time, travel costs, get the attention you need and achieve better long-term value.

Highly recommend this Bromley osteopath clinic.

I’ve had lower back pain for years, but during pregnancy it became unbearable - I’d get an “electric shock” pain when bending and standing back up. I found Dr Christoph Datler via Google and felt nervous, but he was immediately reassuring and clearly very experienced.

What impressed me most was how quickly he identified the cause. He spotted a gait issue just from how my foot rested — I’d been walking with my right foot pointing outwards, putting strain through my body and triggering the back pain. After hands-on treatment, acupuncture, and a few simple exercises, I was sore for 2–3 days… then the pain completely disappeared. It hasn’t come back, even after giving birth, and I’m now more aware of how I walk.

I’ve since returned with shin/foot pain from marathon training and again he was spot-on, giving targeted exercises and treatment. I always feel in safe hands here and recommend this osteopath in Bromley to anyone with musculoskeletal pain.

I've been seeing Christoph for many years now whenever I need treatment. As a fitness instructor, my job is very physical, and Christoph has helped me manage and maintain my body so I can keep doing what I love.

His knowledge and understanding of injury, recovery, and managing ongoing or chronic pain is exceptional. Every session is approached with care and expertise — he never treats the same issue in exactly the same way, but instead listens, assesses what’s going on in the moment, and works through it with real understanding.

He also has beautiful, calm and comfortable clinics in both Bromley and Blackheath, which always make the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming.

I always leave feeling better and confident that my body is in the best hands. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

    Christoph is an exceptional osteopath!
I have been treated by him a number of times over the years, for various back, shoulder & pelvis issues, following sport & motoring accidents. I always regret not coming to see him earlier!
The combination of osteopathy, acupuncture and follow up exercises works extremely well and keep the issues at bay.
I travel from Folkestone in Kent to his Bromley (Shortland) clinic as he is undisputedly the most thorough and skilled practitioner I have encountered.
Recently I have hugely benefited from seeing him while pregnant and suffering from debilitating pelvis, hip & lower back pain. I have regained more mobility thanks to him at 8months than I had at 5, thus despite the added weight & ligament looseness.
